Meet the Founder
Rob Samson, CPA is the Founder and CEO of Corviniti Accounting Consulting, where he leverages over 20 years of high-level financial expertise to help startups and growth-stage companies looking to scale, and M&A transaction or access the capital markets. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in New York and New Jersey.
Before founding Corviniti, Rob spent two decades as a partner and leadership at various global firms. This included tenures at Big 4 and mid-sized global CPA firms. His experience has centered on PCAOB audits for publicly listed companies on the NYSE and Nasdaq, as well as guiding pre-IPO and SPAC clients through the rigorous SEC filing process. Rob’s technical background spans US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance, with a deep focus on SEC reporting requirements (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, and S-4).
Today, Rob’s mission is to bring that same institutional rigor to the SMB and startup sectors. He understands that while growth-stage companies need to move fast, they cannot afford to outpace their financial infrastructure. Whether guiding a tech startup through its first major audit or preparing a life sciences firm for a future exit, Rob provides the technical clarity and strategic oversight necessary to navigate the journey from founder-led operations to professionalized financial reporting.
A recognized subject matter expert, Rob was named a 2023 Notable Leader in Accounting by Crain’s New York Business, and is regular featured in various publications like CNN, Thomson Reuters, and Accounting Today.
